This chocolate slice recipe is SO good! It’s absolutely my go-to when the chocolate cravings hit. It’s raw, free from cane sugar and full of healthy fats and protein.
Change it up by leaving out the caccao, setting it in the fridge and then topping with raw chocolate (this step takes it one step closer to divinity).
I hope you enjoy this raw slice recipe as much as me!
The Best RAW Healthy Choc Coconut Slice
2 cups desiccated coconut (preservative free)
½ cup cacao butter (melted) or add more coconut oil if you don’t have cacao butter
½ cup coconut oil (melted)
¼ cup maple syrup / honey / agave
1 cup almonds or cashews
Pinch of salt
¾ cup cacao powder
1-2 drops Young Living Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil
In a food processor or blender, process the nuts until they are ground. Put all ingredients in bowl and stir to combine. The mixture should be ‘sloppy.’ Pour into a container, lined with baking paper, sprinkle with a bit of desiccated coconut to make it look pretty, and put in the fridge to set.
